Boarding Schools in Harare
Looking at boarding schools in Harare? Advent Hope Boarding offers termly and weekly boarding with resident staff, structured study and worship time, and a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:20, from the junior years through to A Level.

Boarding at Advent Hope Academy
Advent Hope Boarding is a faith-based home away from home where learners grow in character, excellence and leadership. Boarders live in supervised dormitories, eat together in the dining hall and take part in the full life of the academy: sport, culture, Pathfinder and leadership responsibilities.
The boarding house feeds into the same Cambridge pathway as the rest of the academy, so a child who boards with us moves from the junior years through IGCSE to A Level without changing schools.
- Termly boarding, plus weekly boarding with Friday collection
- Resident staff and a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:20 in boarding
- Structured study, worship and recreation time
- From the junior years through to A Level
Termly and weekly arrangements
Families in and around Harare often choose weekly boarding: the child boards through the school week and is collected on Friday, keeping weekends at home while the school week stays fully structured. Termly boarders stay through the term, returning home during breaks.
Both arrangements follow the same hostel routine, so weekly and termly boarders study, worship and relax together as one boarding community.
A structured boarding day
Boarding works when the day has a shape. At Advent Hope Boarding, study time is protected, worship is part of the rhythm of the day, and recreation has its place after the books are closed. Resident staff live alongside the learners, so homework is supervised and no child drifts.
Meals are served in the dining hall, and healthcare and communication with parents are handled with parents as partners, with a clear line of contact when you need to reach your child.
Fees, supplies and what is included
Boarding fees, uniform and stationery lists are published openly in our fee structure downloads so families can plan properly before the term begins. Parents with individual needs, from diet to travel arrangements, are welcome to discuss them with the admissions office.
