Cambridge Schools in Zimbabwe

Why Zimbabwean families choose the Cambridge route

Cambridge qualifications are accepted by universities in Zimbabwe and in more than 160 countries, which is why a growing number of Zimbabwean parents are choosing schools that offer the Cambridge pathway alongside the national curriculum.

The programme rewards understanding over memorisation. From Check-Point in the junior years, through IGCSE, to AS and A Level, learners are trained to reason, investigate and write with clarity, exactly the skills that university study demands.

• Qualifications recognised by universities in Zimbabwe and worldwide
• A structured pathway: Check-Point, IGCSE, AS and A Level
• Teachers experienced in both Cambridge and Zimsec classrooms
• The option to move between pathways as a child's plans mature

Cambridge at Advent Hope Academy

Advent Hope Academy runs the Cambridge pathway through its junior and boarding schools, with subject streams in the sciences, commercial subjects and humanities. Classes are kept small deliberately, so teachers can carry each learner through the demanding Cambridge assessment style with confidence.

Learners also take part in the full life of a Zimbabwean school: sport, culture and Christian character formation, because a Cambridge certificate should be part of an education, not instead of one.
