Advent Hope Group of Schools

Welcome

Welcome To Advent Hope Academy!

The decision to choose a school for your child is one of the most important you will ever make.

We would like to make the process as simple and enjoyable as possible so we warmly invite you to come and see what makes Advent Hope Academy such a special place.

School admissions in Harare

Advent Hope Academy welcomes applications from families across Harare and beyond, for our junior school, our Zimsec day centre in the CBD, and our Cambridge boarding school. Whether you are new to the city or moving your child from another school, our admissions team will guide you through the process from your first enquiry to your child's first day.

The quickest way to begin is the enquiry form below: tell us your child's age or grade and we will confirm availability and the next steps. Form One applications are submitted online and can be tracked at any time with your private tracking code.

1

Parents contact the Admissions Office (Tel: +263 77 310 3003, +263 24 270 5273) or email for an appointment to visit the school. The Admissions Office is open throughout the school year, Monday to Friday, except during public holidays. Candidate students and their parents are given a tour of the school and information regarding the school's programmes; there is an opportunity to meet a senior member of staff to ask any questions.

2

Admission to Nursery and Kindergarten classes is based on the age of the child (Nursery 3-4 years, Kindergarten 4-5 years) and their readiness for school life at Advent Hope Academy, especially with their social, fine motor and English language skills.

3

Successful families are invited to complete the enrolment forms and provide the required documents, including a birth certificate, proof of residence and previous school reports where applicable. Once the enrolment fee is paid, the learner's place is secured.

4

New learners begin on a provisional placement while teachers get to know them and confirm the best class for their needs. The placement is confirmed after the first weeks, and a full welcome into the Advent Hope Academy family follows.
