Boarding Schools in Zimbabwe

What to look for in a Zimbabwean boarding school

Sending a child to boarding is a act of trust. Parents touring boarding schools in Zimbabwe should look past the brochure and ask the practical questions: who supervises the hostels, how is study time protected, what happens when a child is sick or homesick, and how quickly can I reach my child?

At Advent Hope Boarding those questions have direct answers. A teacher-to-student ratio of 1:20 in boarding, resident staff, structured study and worship time, and a clear line of communication with parents are not extras here, they are the design of the school.

• Termly boarders, plus weekly boarding with Friday collection
• Resident staff and a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:20 in boarding
• Structured study, worship and recreation time
• Meals, healthcare and communication handled with parents as partners

Boarding at Advent Hope Academy

Advent Hope Boarding is a faith-based home away from home where learners grow in character, excellence and leadership. The boarding house feeds into the same Cambridge pathway as the rest of the academy, so a child who boards with us moves through Check-Point, IGCSE and A Level without changing schools.

Boarders take part in the full life of the academy: sport, culture, Pathfinder and leadership responsibilities, with the school's Christian values shaping daily routine. Our facilities, from dormitories to the dining hall, can be seen in the photo and video tours on our boarding page.

Fees and what is included

Boarding fees, uniform and stationery lists are published openly so families can plan properly. Termly and weekly boarding arrangements are both available, and parents are welcome to discuss individual needs with the admissions office.
