Advent Hope Academy
Private Schools in Zimbabwe
Researching private schools in Zimbabwe? Advent Hope Academy is a Christian academy in Harare offering the Cambridge pathway and Zimsec day education, with boarding from the junior years through A Level.
Choosing among private schools in Zimbabwe
Zimbabwean parents have always taken education seriously, and the range of private schools across the country reflects that. Whether a family lives in Harare, Bulawayo or further afield, most are weighing the same questions: which curriculum will my child write, will they be known as an individual, and will the school build character as well as results?
The answers matter at every stage, from the first years of primary school to the final stretch of A Level, and they are worth checking in person. We encourage every family considering Advent Hope Academy to visit, ask hard questions, and watch how our learners carry themselves.
- Cambridge international pathway alongside the Zimsec curriculum
- Small classes where teachers know every learner
- Christian values and firm, caring discipline
- Boarding and day options under one admissions team
A Zimbabwean private education with Cambridge standards
Advent Hope Academy was founded by educators, and it shows in the detail: a deliberately small school where ratios are kept low, a timetable that balances academics with sport and culture, and a staff that treats parents as partners.
Our learners sit Cambridge and Zimsec examinations, giving families real choice between a globally recognised qualification and the national route, taught by teachers experienced in both.
Curriculum and examinations
Learners follow the Cambridge pathway from junior foundations through IGCSE and A Level, or the Zimsec pathway at our day centre in Harare's CBD. Both routes are supported by the same teaching staff and the same standards of discipline.
