Private Schools in Harare

Why families choose a private school in Harare

Choosing a school is one of the biggest decisions a parent makes. Families looking at private schools in Harare usually want the same things: classes small enough for a child to be known, teachers who set high standards, firm discipline, and an environment where character matters as much as results.

Advent Hope Academy was founded on exactly those principles. As a Christian school we pair a demanding academic programme with pastoral care that treats every learner as an individual, so children grow in confidence as well as knowledge.

• Small classes where every learner is known by name
• Christian values that guide behaviour and character
• Strong academic, sporting and cultural programmes
• Both boarding and day options for secondary learners

One academy, three schools

Advent Hope Academy serves Harare families at every stage of a child's education. Advent Hope Junior lays a careful Cambridge foundation for young learners, our boarding school offers a safe, structured home away from home for growth in character and leadership, and our Zimsec day centre in Harare's CBD gives secondary learners a disciplined city education.

Because the three schools share one ethos, children who start with us in the junior years can move through the academy without the disruption of changing schools, and parents deal with one admissions team throughout.
